HSUonline is the animal care and control community's first noncredit online course catalog, featuring:

A variety of noncredit certificate programs

Self-paced courses let you log on whenever you want. You can read the materials at your own rate and on your own schedule. Successfully complete all assignments and you’ll receive a Certificate of Completion.

Instructor-led courses have start and end dates, just like in a classroom. You will be part of a small group of animal advocates who, together, will explore the topics at hand. You’ll also interact with each other through Discussion Boards and active assignments.

Students are not required to log on at specific dates and times but they should plan to log on several times per week and complete their assignments by the end of each week. Expect to spend 2-6 hours per week reading materials, completing assignments, and discussing issues. Successfully complete all exams and assignments and you’ll receive a Certificate of Completion.

The amount of time each students spends on the course each week depends on how fast their Internet connection is, how fast they read, how fast they type, and how much time they are willing and able to contribute towards the experience.
