In 2005, The HSUS became a Nonprofit Partner of the American Humanics program. American Humanics is a national alliance of colleges, universities, and nonprofits; its mission is to educate, prepare, and certify professionals to strengthen and lead nonprofit organizations.

The American Humanics program offers many resources to help students prepare for a successful career as a nonprofit professional. More than 70 colleges and universities across the US offer the American Humanics nonprofit management program. Search for an American Humanics program at a college campus near you.

As a Nonprofit Partner, The HSUS supports the American Humanics program and strongly considers both intern applicants from American Humanics campuses and job applicants with American Humanics certification.
