Duties
Help shelters and pet owners prepare for and cope with large-scale emergencies such as hurricanes, tornadoes, floods, and terrorist threats.

Education & Background
Disaster relief specialists need to learn many skills through education and experience, including knowledge of animal and human responses to stress, interpersonal communication skills, and ability to organize people and supplies quickly and efficiently.
