Animal control professionals and educators agree: it’s not enough to correct the problems of irresponsible pet ownership or address cruelty to animals through law enforcement; it’s also essential to educate the public—including children—about care and responsibility. In this course, learn the best ways to approach schools, plan and schedule classroom presentations, and conduct age appropriate and fun-filled animal welfare programs for children in grades K-8.
