Thank you for your interest in "Livestock in Disasters," an online course presented by the U.S. Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) through the Emergency Management Institute (EMI) at the National Emergency Training Center.

This course is for farmers, extension agents, emergency managers and others who have interests in the livestock industry. It describes the various hazards that animals can face and how to mitigate them, as well as how to respond to an actual disaster.  Learn more about The HSUS Disaster Services program.

This is one of several courses created by FEMA with the support and cooperation of The Humane Society of the United States' Disaster Services Department.

Information about these modules is provided as a complimentary service to Humane Society University students and www.HSUonline.org site visitors.

To register for any other FEMA online courses, go to the following website: http://training.fema.gov/EMIWeb/IS/crslist.asp

Any questions about the modules or their web sites should be directed to the National Emergency Training Center via http://training.fema.gov/EMIWeb/contactus.asp.

If you have any other questions about HSU, please contact hsu@hsus.org anytime.  Thank you for your interest in helping animals in disaster situations.
