Course Description
Pets for Life: Making Good Matches instructs shelter workers and volunteers in developing tools and techniques for effective profiling of animals and patrons in order to make appropriate matches. The course will also discuss ways to help adopters have realistic expectations and to assist the pet in transitioning into the new home. In Making Good Matches, students learn how to design programs for public outreach before and after adoption.
This 4-week course is part of the Pets for Life Certificate Program.
